I no longer buy anything with food dyes in it, nothing with enriched bleached flower, I try to eliminate processed foods, and nothing that says “natural flavors.” I wish Americans cared more about their health than that quick fix of pleasure. What people allow into the food system is literally what is making people sick and dependent on the healthcare system (or lack thereof). We’re a vegan home now and try to only buy from local farmers markets and ensure that anything from stores only contain real organic ingredients… but I feel half the time, you almost can’t trust that anymore. America is severely lacking in substantive healthy food choices and our government is only catering to the big corporations cutting corners, making people sick, and then selling them the medication to alleviate the symptoms but not cure anything, the circle of death.

remove the politicians that pander(get finance) from big pharama, big ag (monsanto, etc) or its never going to change…. so basicly its prob going to get worse in usa, sadly.

I think you should also check with your regular doctor for any underlying physiological causes of chronic digestive pain, too–just to be on the safe side.

I was dying with no symptoms other than feeling life was draining out of me. I was a mother of a three year old and didn’t know where to turn. Medical Dr.s have to have symptoms to treat and I risked the possibly of being drugged to try to help something they didn’t understand.
Through alternative care it was determined I was being poisoned by pesticides/herbicides, etc. I went on Dandelion and Nettles tinctures and got my life back.
For 43 years I’ve been using those 2 herbs in the spring. It’s why I am careful about what I put on and in my body. What I breathe, drink, etc.
Not easy in our society that doesn’t know or understand the affects of food, products, air, land, etc. on our bodies. They then wonder why their bodies break down and expect a Dr. with little nutritional education to fix them.
But not to be all doom and gloom here, I do believe there is hope as people become aware and learn.
