I have been trying natural sun protection based on tallow with zinc.
Not so easy to apply but it works.

Any suggestions on natural products that can replace chemicals successfully are welcome.

Unfortunately, bad for people usually translates to bad for the environment. Be mindful what you put in the trash. Hazardous waste sites are typically nearby and easy to use. Find yours online and use it! FRN – thank you, I always find your information helpful!

Look for vegan brands that are not tested on animals. Steer clear of brands Mande by multi-national corporations and grocery store brands, even department store brands. Ayurveda based products are usually even safe to eat because you don’t really want to put something on your body you would not put in your body. I use almond oil as a moisturizer most of the time.
