Occasionally I use tart cherry juice in smoothie’s but mostly use raw cherries as a snack or in a salad. I’m not a juice drinker overall, it’s coffee, tea or water., and with your wide variety of recipes I’m never out of ideas and since transitioning to a plant based diet I’m find lots of new combinations. Thanks for everyone’s help..
I’m not a perfect example nor do I recommend striving for perfection. I really will support doctors getting more education in nutrition. I find that my doctors are not always up to date on how much nutrition knowledge can help. I’ve discovered kiwi is a great overall fruit and grapes kept in 3-4 oz servings are manageable. For me darker fruit lasts longer and these are great frozen.does. I don’t remove pits before freezing but you can buy them pitted in the freezer section of most grocers. I happen to live in Wi so cherries are a popular item but seasonal. Be careful and know your grower and distributor..Again thanks for all the great information. By the way I love your Waldorf salad with cherries! Great recipe!!!!!!
