Those water bottles are easily cleaned with soapy water and a bottle brush.. In all that time I have dropped and broken less than 10 bottles. I use a reverse osmosis filter at home and put the water immediately into half gallon glass jugs so it doesn’t sit in the plastic tank. The reverse osmosis also removes microplastics from the water.
