I did give up liquid milk and cream back in 2001 because it gave me Asthma, and I did cut way back on all other dairy goods too after that. However, this year (2026) I took back eating large amounts of cheeses and meat in order to greatly increase my protein and calcium intake to delay the onset of osteoporosis; I now have Osteopenia. I have been hearing from so many health experts for so many years about how detrimental dairy is to our health, but I think your article is the first one I’ve read that said dairy can cause Eczema which I have had for about 4 years now. It’s worth giving up the dairy to try and clear up the Eczema and many other troubling conditions (pre-diabetes, sleep apnea, fatigue, depression, obesity) that would likely be alleviated or eliminated. It won’t be easy but I feel I owe it to myself to see how much better I might feel and do by giving up these problem foods. Thanks again!

Jessica, well put and I totally agree. I buy 90% or 92%. I also use raw organic cacao powder that I put in muesli and oatmeal, with lots of other yummy stuff.

Pick a beautiful single-origin bar, and you’ll likely find a few squares offers a better bliss boost than a sugary treat and a smoother energy boost than a cup of coffee. Cacao is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, so at 70% or higher, chocolate packs a potent nutritional punch. No need to turn this kind of chocolate into anything else.
