Maximum Growth

You can get yields like this too!
Once again, Michael Straumietis, of Advanced Nutrients has a bunch of tips for those of us who don’t quite know everything about hydroponics. The advice given this time around is about generally getting the biggest yield from your garden. No one technique will make your garden have massively different results, but add together a bunch of techniques and you have a huge difference.

Disease Prevention.
By protecting your garden and taking necessary precautions against disease you will help ensure great plant growth. Using a hydroponic nutrient system that contains salicylic acid. This compound helps beef up the plants natural defenses against disease. Keeping some fungicides nearby wouldn’t hurt either.
Being able to attack a fungal infection as soon as it starts may be what you need to save your crop should fungus break loose in your garden.

Root Enhancers
Your plants get most of their nutrition through their roots, right? So it makes sense to have a powerful, complex root structure, right? Using a root enhancer will strengthen your root system, by using beneficial bacteria. These bacteria are naturally found in soil and they help by breaking down nutrients into forms more acceptable by the plants root.

Foliar Feeding

So you have a good strong root structure and you might think that you can’t increase your nutrient uptake anymore. Well you can actually, by using a technique known as foliar feeding. You’ll need some extra equipment such as a sprayer and surfactant. Doing this will help your plant grow and thrive into the monster it wants to be.

Trimming your plants

One of the best ways to help your plant grow is to keep your plant tidy, and trim off any branches or parts that aren’t up to snuff. Trimming off dead and dying parts of a plant will help it grow, rather than the plant expending energy to fight disease, and heal the wound.
