Silica is a plant nutritional supplement designed to promote cell wall strength and optimize the performance of modern hydroponic nutrients. One of Silica’s most important roles is to add silicon and weight to all parts of the plant in order to bolster the cell wall integrity and strength. This allows for a stronger sturdier and more robust plant. Silica also prevents HNS (High Nitrogen Syndrome), this is a serious but common problem when growing with todays high nitrogen powered nutrients.
